We Need YOU or we will no longer have a Mt. Erie PTA!
Please consider joining the PTA board, most of our board members are moving on and unless we have 4 people willing to step up we will no longer have a Mt Erie PTA. What does that mean? It means that Mt. Erie will not have the ability to spend the remaining money in the PTA bank account or fundraise for the 2021/2022 school year. Money won’t be accessible for the following areas that our PTA supports:
The Board of Executives generally meet once a month and there are 3-4 Membership meetings where all PTA members meet to vote on the budget, new board members and any changes in fund allocation.

- Mt. Erie School grant which subsidizes field trips costs for all students
- Mt. Erie Library grant which helps keep the library updated with newer books
- Subsidies for all students who take part in the annual ACT theatre production
- Organizes events like Harvest Festival, Talent Show, Dances, Mt. Erie Movie Mornings, Science on Wheels Day etc.
- Supports staff for events like the Mt. Erie Fun Run, Field Day, Science on Wheels Day, etc.
- Contributes to projects throughout the school like Mt. Erie Walking Path, Gaga Ball Court, Rock Climbing Wall, Electronic Reader Board, Yearbooks, etc.
